A WSOP documentary series called “No Limit” is in trouble because its creator, Dustin Iannotti, used AI to create fake quotes.
These quotes were made to sound like poker player Alan Keating in Episodes 5 and 6, even though Keating never said them.
When Keating found out, he wrote online that the voice and words were not his. This created a strong reaction in the poker community. Because of the scandal, the WSOP removed all the episodes from YouTube.

Iannotti explained that the fake parts were only about 10 seconds in total, inside two 55-minute episodes. He apologized and said he should have spoken to Keating before using AI. He also said the rest of the documentary is still real and honest.
Thank you for this, genuinely. The context helps. Appreciate you taking the time.

In hindsight, I should have asked for explicit approval.
Nonetheless, I appreciate hearing from someone who’s been around it way more in Hollywood, etc.
Other players also said that their images or words were changed. Many poker fans and players called the situation shocking and said it hurts the trust in WSOP productions.
According to Pokernews, Alex Keating said they used a “fake voice” to make it sound like him, and that they also re-edited his episode in a misleading way.
“I never agreed to this,” he wrote. “I was supposed to be a featured player in an upcoming episode, but now I don’t want anything to do with it. I do not give permission for voice-overs or for my footage to be cut and edited like that.”
The final two episodes of the documentary should be released air on Tuesday and Thursday this week.
Disappointed with @GGPoker @WSOP

They’ve clearly added a fake voice in for me. And re edited things without context. I never agreed to this
I was a feature player for an episode that I think will be coming out soon. I no longer want to be a part of this. And I do not give…
